Privacy Policy
Short version: we don't track you personally. No cookies. No ads. No selling data. Ever.
What we collect
Earnings Countdown uses Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly, GDPR-compliant analytics tool that collects aggregate, anonymous data:
- Page URL visited (e.g.
/stock/aapl) - Approximate country (derived from IP, then IP is discarded)
- Browser type and OS (e.g. Chrome on Windows)
- Referrer (where you came from, if any)
What we don't collect
- No cookies — Umami doesn't set any. The site itself uses no cookies either.
- No IP addresses stored
- No fingerprinting
- No cross-site tracking
- No personal identifiers
- No data shared with advertisers, ad networks, or data brokers
Why we use analytics
To know which pages are useful, where to invest time on improvements, and how the site is growing. We don't run ads — analytics aren't here to sell you anything.
Third-party data sources
Earnings calendar data and EPS estimates come from Finnhub. When you load a stock page, your browser may load the company's logo from Finnhub's CDN. That's a normal HTTP request and Finnhub doesn't receive any personal information about you.
GDPR rights
Since we don't store anything personal about you, there's no personal data to access, correct, delete, or export. If you have any privacy concerns, email a.jako.andre@gmail.com.
Changes
If we ever change what we collect, this page will be updated and the change will be visible in our public Git history.
